Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Regulatory Affairs Manager. This key role will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and leading discussions with operators, wholesale suppliers, and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority on various matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure regulatory compliance, including ensuring necessary documentation is completed and submitted.
  • Lead constructive relationships and represent the business on competition, policy, and wholesale matters with the TRA.
  • Contribute to the development of Vodafone corporate strategy to ensure regulatory affairs-related matters are considered and reflected.
  • Provide input into responses on TRA consultation papers on various subjects and issues.

Core Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in the telecom industry, preferably with 10+ years of substantial experience in regulation and dealing with regulatory authorities.
  • Substantial experience in stakeholder management at senior level, presenting to stakeholders, managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Advanced knowledge of national and international telecom industry, preferably with start-up experience in setting up a new company/operator.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Regulation compliance strategy in place, engaging positively with the TRA and other stakeholders, participating in consultations conducted by the TRA, and monitoring market dynamics that may impact Vodafone's position in the market.
  • Improve Vodafone's competitive position in the market and influence the TRA on decisions favorable to Vodafone.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree, preferably in Business Economics or Legal background.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They must also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
