The Role

We are seeking an Associate Director to oversee work for world-leading organisations across the public and private sectors within our international consultancy business spanning five global hubs.

The Middle East and North Africa hub has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services since 1998.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate portfolio management experience in a consultancy or client capacity.
  • Lead the Controls team, comprising Mace employees and project staff.
  • Build and manage the Controls team responsible for functions such as master data set management, benefits realisation, change control, earned value management, interface management, reporting, risk, and schedule management.
  • Drive performance in line with the Portfolio drumbeat and governance structure, including reporting.
  • Identify and communicate performance insights to project teams.
  • Oversee performance and continuous improvement of standard processes.
  • Train team members in processes and procedures as needed.
  • Serve as a client-facing role, presenting to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all PMO and risk management services within the assigned hub(s) are aligned with best practices and ISO standards.
  • Provide expert advice and support across projects within the hub and to other hubs as required.
  • Build strong professional relationships with clients and exceed their expectations.
  • Lead the delivery of all technical PMO and project controls services within the assigned hubs, including digital services.
  • Contribute to the net zero carbon transition by proactively managing associated emissions and reductions during project delivery.
