The role of Senior Payments Specialist involves overseeing the development and implementation of payment systems, ensuring alignment with market trends and industry standards. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage business analysis, requirements definition, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the payment landscape, including emerging technologies and market needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize project requirements, ensuring effective solution design and delivery.
- Provide expert guidance on payment systems, including payment types, such as SWIFT, MI Payments, Cross-Border Corridors, and Remittance Management.
- Analyze and evaluate new payment solutions, providing detailed recommendations for implementation and adoption.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality product documentation, including business requirements documents and software requirements specifications.
- Extensive experience in payments, preferably in banking or financial services, with a deep understanding of payment types, processes, and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SWIFT, SWIFT GPI, SWIFT-Go, SWIFT Pre-validation, SWIFT CBPR+, SWIFT APIs, and future SWIFT roadmap.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively transfer requirements to product owners and developers.
- Exceptional documentation skills for design, stories, and illustrating business requirements between business and technical teams.
- Background in software development is preferred.
