Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to manage the Domestic Card Scheme Program for a banking client in Oman.

  • Manage Payment scheme Projects & CR as a Technical point of contact, including Debit cards, credit cards, and POS acquiring Applications.
  • Provide necessary support to channels, middleware, and other systems integrated with Payment applications.
  • Lead the bank's initiative for domestic card scheme from a technology perspective.
  • Manage testing specifically SIT and also provide support during other testing phases of the projects including UAT, go-live, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payment protocols, APIs, and integration technologies. They will be responsible for providing dedicated support to finalize the Business Requirements Document (BRD) and design specifications with the team in the Business Analysis/Pre-development Phase.

  1. Prepare Test Setup build-up document which will form the basis for later production setup build-up, including hardware requirements, software requirements, software patches/updates details, and setup.
  2. Smooth handover of the production environment to the operations department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in application support, with at least 10 years in payment systems.
  • Proven experience in handling domestic card scheme programs, preferably in the GCC market.
Skills:
  • Deep understanding of payment processing systems and technologies.
  • Knowledge of major payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
  • Familiarity with banking systems and financial protocols.
