Ambitious Information Manager Wanted for Secure Role

This opportunity is for a secured role that is due to commence in the near future, subject to approval.

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking information manager to join our established and growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and delivering IM strategies, standards (inc. ISO19650) and processes for client-facing projects and programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

• IM Strategies: Defines and delivers IM strategies, standards (inc. ISO19650) and processes for client-facing projects and programmes.
• Project/Programme IM Function: Establishes and manages the project/programme IM function following the strategy, standards and processes set.
• IM Training and Awareness: Trains project/programme colleagues in IM practices and processes and drives awareness and continuous improvement.
• Quality Control: Manages the assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.
• Line Management: Line manages, coaches and supports the IM team working on the project, as direct and indirect reports.
• Digital Centre of Excellence: Contributes to global digital centre of excellence including body of knowledge, processes, case studies.
• Bid Support: Contributes to bids in terms of IM strategies and solutions.
• CDE Implementation: Contributes to the set-up, implementation and development of the common data environment (CDE).
• Sustainability: Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Information Systems Degree: A degree in information systems or equivalent.
• Technical Qualifications: Technical qualifications and certifications such as APM IM, Association of Information Managers.
• Software Experience: Subject expert experience in key IM software including Aconex, ViewPoint, Business Collaborator, SharePoint, etc.
• Model Assurance: User Revit and Solibri.
• Information Management Experience: Information management experience across a number of projects and programmes. Information architecture.
• Naming, Numbering, Filing Conventions: Naming, numbering, filing conventions, ISO19650.

The successful candidate will also have:

• PowerBI Experience: Experience in using PowerBI.
• Big Project Experience: Big project and programme experience in IM and document control.
• Document Control Experience: Helping to set up of the document control and IM function, running the process.
• ISO 19650 Series: ISO 19650 series, CDE management.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication.
• Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiator.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Used to working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Discipline: Disciplined in running IM processes.
• Team Player: Effective team member and helping/training others.
• Independence: Able to work independently.
• Organisation Skills: Organised and ability to organise others, seek clarity, and manage boundaries.
• Equivalent Qualification: Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
• Extensive Years' Experience: Extensive years' experience.
