Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security plan tailored to a marine construction environment. This includes protecting personnel, materials, equipment, and the site itself from threats including theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and environmental hazards.

  1. Develop and implement a risk management strategy that minimizes vulnerabilities and ensures compliance with maritime security regulations.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
  3. Closely coordinate with harbor authorities and local law enforcement to ensure effective communication and cooperation.

Additionally, this role requires leadership and management skills to oversee on-site security personnel, including scheduling, training, and supervision. The Security Manager must also respond to and investigate security incidents, maintain logs and incident reports, and develop emergency response procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in security management or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of security management experience, preferably in large-scale or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime security protocols and international port security standards.
  • Leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
