Project Coordinator Role

Wood is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to prepare and report project cost budgets, track expenditure, and develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of WBS and CBS.
  • Liaise with procurement, finance, and time-capture functions.
  • Support the project work approval process.
  • Monitor cost commitments and expenditures.
  • Provide input to project cost performance reports.
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting on cost impact of project manpower forecasts.
  • Develop project change orders/variations.
  • Communicate cost and schedule impact of change notifications.

Key requirements for this role include a strong analytical and stewardship background, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience in the Oil and Gas or Project Management sector.

A Bachelor's degree in Business or Science is essential, along with 5+ years of experience in Procurement. We are looking for candidates who can effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and maintain accurate records of project costs, expenses, and progress.
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  3. Monitor and control project expenditures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  4. Develop and maintain WBS and CBS, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve project goals.
  6. Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
