Job Title: Mechanical Systems Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to maintain and repair heavy vehicles at an Industrial Training Institution. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of mechanical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain heavy vehicles through routine checks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Inspect vehicles for any signs of structural damage or issues.
  • Determine the cause of mechanical and electronic problems to decide on necessary repairs.
  • Repair or replace malfunctioning parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed.
  • Test systems and parts to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Communicate with clients and operators to understand their vehicle issues.
  • Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Stay updated with the latest repair techniques and technology in the industry.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of ITI or Diploma in a relevant field is mandatory.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
