Project Manager - Oman MEP/HVAC Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our ESCO projects in Oman.

This role requires strong technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership skills to ensure the successful implementation of project activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Oman's MEP/HVAC segment and be able to work on multidisciplinary projects with great communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership for project activities.
  • Ensure the project is technically sound and consistent with client requirements.
  • Administer contracts from a technical and commercial standpoint.
  • Interact with clients, interpret their needs, and represent them to the Head of Projects.
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects.
  • Formulate project parameters and monitor activities.
  • Present project status to the Head of Projects in regular review meetings.
  • Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal functions to create efficient project methods and enhance profitability.
  • Interact with subcontractors to monitor and control their performance.
  • Prepare RFPs to deploy subcontractors.
  • Review engineering tasks, initiate corrective actions, and develop specifications.
  • Implement frameworks to measure project metrics and data collection.
  • Establish field test methods and quality monitoring processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Oman's MEP/HVAC segment is preferred.
  • Certified PMP or IPMA-C is a mandatory requirement.
  • Driving license is a must.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE Codes and guidelines is an advantage.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Ability to work on multiple discipline projects.
  • Previous experience handling multiple discipline projects and energy optimization projects is an advantage.
  • Excellent project management and supervision skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
