Hotel Profitability Manager

About the Role:

The Hotel Profitability Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing hotel profitability through effective pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Pricing Strategy Development: Design and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room pricing and increase revenue across all market segments.
  2. Performance Monitoring: Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), and market share to inform pricing decisions.
  3. Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor pricing, market trends, and demand patterns to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  4. Distribution Channel Management: Manage room inventory allocation across all distribution channels, including direct bookings, OTAs, GDS, and corporate accounts.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with sales, marketing, and front office teams to align promotional offers, group bookings, and special events with revenue goals.
  6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare accurate forecasts and budgets, providing management with detailed reports and actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  7. System Utilization: Leverage revenue management systems to optimize pricing and inventory, ensuring effective use of the hotel's property management system and channel management tools.
  8. Training and Development: Conduct regular training for front office and reservations teams on revenue management principles and tools to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  9. Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase overall revenue and enhance the guest experience.
