Vessel Coordination Specialist Job

We are seeking an experienced Vessel Coordination Specialist to join our team in Oman.

This role involves coordinating with vessels and shipowners to ensure efficient port calls.

Main Responsibilities:

The specialist will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating arrival and departure procedures for vessels
  • Clearing inward and outward cargo
  • Resolving issues with local authorities
  • Managing Bill of Lading arrangements and releases
  • Facilitating crew changes
  • Ensuring cash to master (CTM) is processed efficiently
  • Delivering and clearing spare parts
  • Coordinating spare part handling
  • Performing other related tasks as required
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of Sohar shipping procedures
  • Understanding of international logistics services and markets
  • Excellent English language skills (IELTS 7.0 or C1 level)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
