Shipping Agency Coordinator Position

We are looking for a talented Shipping Agency Coordinator to join our team in Oman.

This role involves coordinating with vessels and shipowners to ensure smooth port calls.

Main Responsibilities:

The coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating arrival and departure procedures
  • Clearing inward and outward cargo
  • Working with local authorities to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Managing Bill of Lading arrangements and releases
  • Facilitating crew changes
  • Ensuring cash to master (CTM) is processed efficiently
  • Delivering and clearing spare parts
  • Coordinating spare part handling
  • Performing other related tasks as required
Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar position
  • Extensive knowledge of Sohar shipping procedures
  • Understanding of international logistics services and markets
  • Excellent English language skills (IELTS 7.0 or C1 level)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
