Job Title: Technical Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Superintendent to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of our oil tankers, ensuring they meet the necessary technical standards and performance requirements. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the maritime industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the technical maintenance and repairs of our oil tankers to ensure compliance with international regulations.
  • Manage the vessels' certificates and documents, including crew certifications, safety inspections, and other relevant documentation.
  • Develop and implement technical budgets for each vessel, monitoring costs and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services and materials.
Requirements:
  • A Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (COC Class 1/Class 2) qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a reputable shipping company.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
