Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project-specific quality systems, planning QA/QC activities, evaluating project specifications, inspecting materials, and ensuring site works meet approved method statements and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain project-specific quality systems in accordance with industry standards and contracts.
  • Plan and coordinate all QA/QC activities in conjunction with the QA/QC Manager or Project Manager.
  • Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and method statements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Inspect materials and goods received to ensure they meet approved material submittals.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure site works meet approved method statements and applicable standards.
  • Organize and supervise quality control inspections to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Advises Project Managers on preventive actions following non-conforming work.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports and Registers in coordination with Site Superintendents.
  • Control non-conformities, including disposition and corrective actions.
  • Conduct Quality Management System audits and surveillance to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement document control systems for recording quality documents and tracking changes.
  • Establish test plans and verify their implementation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Timely testing and recording of concrete cube and soil tests to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop Quality Plans for projects in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Assist Technical Offices and Site Superintendents in monitoring quality and implementing corrective actions.
