
General Services Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Planning: Contribute to departmental strategy development as cascaded down from the company strategy and oversee its implementation throughout the department and its operations to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.
2. People Management: Manage the department's team of direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning to maximize team performance and achieve departmental objectives.
3. Operational Management: Manage the department's daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes to achieve high performance standards and meet established targets.
4. Budget Oversight: Manage the development and consolidation of the departmental budget and monitor the department's financial performance versus the budget to ensure exercising of financial authority within established limits and control of departmental budget expenditure.
5. HR Initiatives/Projects Management: Manage HR initiatives/projects that can make a significant contribution to operational goals and provide a competitive advantage based on best practices.
6. General Services Management: Manage General Services pertaining to all employees, administrative teams, and governmental requirements to ensure proper adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
7. Compensation & Benefits Management: Manage the design and development of a competitive compensation and benefits strategy ensuring consistency with industry trends and benchmarks while achieving overall strategic objectives.
8. Talent Management: Manage organizational growth ambition to be a strategic advisor to leadership teams on all aspects of Talent Management including identification, development, and implementation of effective systems, policies, and practices.
9. Performance Management: Monitor the development, update, and implementation of a robust and transparent performance management framework to motivate, reward, and retain good performers.
10. Policies & Procedures: Manage the development, implementation, and communication of the department's policies and procedures to ensure clear communication and fulfillment of procedural and legislative requirements.
