
Manager of Financial Records

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Operations Management
- Oversee the smooth execution of financial operations related to community management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage and administer the Community Petty Cash account.
- Revenue Management
- Generate quarterly service charge invoices for unit owners based on approved budgets.
- Assist in the preparation and posting of month-end and year-end accruals using budgeted and contractual figures.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, including accounts receivable and collection updates.
- VAT & Regulatory Compliance
- Accurately compute, document, and file VAT returns in line with local tax laws and submit them to the finance team.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date VAT records to support audits or regulatory inspections.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the management accountant in preparing annual budgets for multiple communities.
- Liaise with the customer experience team to review and verify unit owner account statements.
- Documentation & System Support
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records both digitally and in physical files.
- Assist with system implementations or upgrades, staff training, and process improvement initiatives.
- Customer Service
- Address service charge-related queries from unit owners, ensuring clear, accurate, and professional communication.
- General Responsibilities
- Perform any additional duties reasonably assigned by senior management.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and operational standards at all times.
