Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a talented and experienced Cost Consultant to manage our cost deliverables for a major mixed-use development project in Oman.
  • You will be responsible for developing client relationships within your project engagement, maintaining accurate cost databases, and conducting market research.
  • Additionally, you will ensure delivery and performance based on our value-driven approach, measuring quantities for cost models, plans, estimates, and bills accurately.

About the Project:

The project involves a large commercial and public building complex, entertainment and retail areas, and lavish landscaping and public realm.

You will work closely with our team to:

  • Prepare cost models and benchmarks using digital and traditional methods, presenting effectively to clients;
  • Maintain a safe, diverse, and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in your team and local health and safety rules or regulations;
  • Develop strategic outcomes and build long-term relationships with clients;
  • Influence the achievement of business objectives that align with business and legislative compliance obligations;
  • Champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities.

Requirements:

  • You should have experience working in the Middle East;
  • Hold MRICS or relevant professional membership;
  • Possess a degree in quantity surveying or cost management;
  • Have leadership and management experience with large, diverse teams;
  • Show awareness of carbon and sustainability impacts on projects;
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
