Job Purpose

  • A healthcare professional in this role will ensure the well-being of employees and adherence to regulatory compliance and industry standards. They will work closely with our team to implement effective health risk management, proactive surveillance, and workplace hygiene monitoring.
  • They will be responsible for conducting regular fitness-to-work evaluations, occupational disease prevention programs, and health promotion activities.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Oman labor laws, OPAL requirements, and international standards such as OSHA, WHO, and ILO. They will also have excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and promoting safe working conditions through robust policies and measures.
  • Conducting health risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Monitoring workplace hygiene conditions and recommending corrective actions.
  • Supporting fitness-to-work evaluations and medical examinations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Nursing or Occupational Health.
  • 4-5 years of experience in Occupational Health Management, including policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
