
Culinary Operations Manager

As a key player in our culinary team, we are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join us.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and meets quality standards. They will assist with planning and directing food preparation, resolving issues that arise, and taking control of any problematic situations.
This role requires both culinary talent and leadership skills, with a strong focus on consistency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role and possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff, maintaining food quality, and assisting with menu preparation.
- Assist Sous Chefs, Kitchen Manager, and Head Chef with planning and directing food preparation.
- Resolve issues that arise and take control of any problematic situations.
- Manage, train, and supervise kitchen staff, establish work schedules, and assess staff performance.
- Provide direction to kitchen personnel and communicate tasks clearly.
- Order supplies and manage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as DCDP or CDP.
- 3–6 years of experience in hospitality, catering, or high-volume food production environments.
- Ability to work rotating shifts (day, afternoon, night) depending on company needs.
- Familiar with current culinary trends and kitchen best practices.
Knowledge and Competency:
- Experience leading and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ownership of a kitchen section with consistent output and quality control.
- Effective verbal communication and ability to relay instructions.
Personality:
- Clear and confident communicator with a positive attitude.
- Leads with empathy and promotes a collaborative kitchen environment.
