Senior Financial Leader

Oman Air seeks a seasoned financial expert to lead its financial planning and analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will oversee the development of comprehensive financial plans, ensure accurate budgeting, and drive financial stability throughout the organization.

The Senior Financial Leader will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and implementing financial plans that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
  2. Overseeing the financial planning and budgeting process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 10-12+ years of financial experience with a minimum of 4 years' managerial experience.
  • ACCA / CPA / ICMA / Equivalent International body professional certificate (mandatory).

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Managing fleet lease and sale agreements, evaluating financial implications, and facilitating collaboration with fleet managers and operations teams.
  2. Maintaining good working relationships with aircraft lessors, OEMs, and banks.
  3. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and deadlines.

Desirable skills and knowledge include:

  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with aviation finance practices.
  • Proven knowledge leading financial strategy development and execution.
  • Experience in zero-based budgeting.
  • Dynamic leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.

This is a mid-senior level position, full-time, in the Finance and Strategy/Planning function, within the Airlines and Aviation industry.
