Network Infrastructure Specialist

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of network infrastructure. This position contributes to maintaining seamless operations, rapid incident resolution, and continuous enhancement of services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
  • Manage and configure Cisco ACI
  • Utilize network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools
  • Troubleshoot communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • Perform security functions, including firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention, packet filtering, content inspection, anti-virus scanning, and scheduled tasks
  • Analyze network traffic to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Trigger technical escalation processes.
  • Document installation, setup, and configuration.
  • Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
  • Provide technical support (Level 1-when needed and Level 2) on all Data Center products and solutions.
  • Ensure immediate assistance through 24/7 Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for all network solutions.
  • Prior experience with network and network security vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, and Huawei Networks is essential.
  • A strong understanding of Networking technologies, especially Cisco ACI is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fixing skills are necessary.
  • Experience with network diagnostic tools, utilizing these tools to monitor network performance and diagnose issues.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Excel and Visio.
  • An extensive knowledge of Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) is crucial.
