Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Reservations Agent to provide exceptional customer service and ensure every guest has a memorable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Booking Reservations: You will assist guests with making reservations for rooms, dining, and other hotel services using online booking systems or taking bookings over the phone.
  2. Providing Information: Stay knowledgeable about our hotel's amenities, room types, rates, and special promotions and be able to provide detailed information to guests to help them make informed decisions.
  3. Customer Service: As the first point of contact for many guests, you must provide excellent customer service being friendly, professional, and patient when dealing with inquiries and requests.
  4. Problem Solving: Anticipate and address any issues guests may encounter with their reservations such as date changes, cancellations, or special requests showcasing your problem-solving skills.
  5. Upselling: Identify opportunities to offer additional amenities or room categories to guests increasing revenue for the hotel.
  6. Data Entry: Accurately record reservation details, guest information, and payment details into our hotel's reservation system.
  7. Payment Processing: Process payments for reservations including taking credit card information and securing deposits.
  8. Handling Inquiries: Be prepared to answer a wide range of inquiries from hotel policies to local attractions and transportation options.
  9. Communication: Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that guest requests are met.
  10. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and changes to track occupancy and revenue.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment.
  4. Familiarity with Opera is desirable but not essential.
  5. Knowledge of Arabic language is desired but not required.
