This is a senior-level certification role that involves overseeing all activities related to product and factory certification, ensuring compliance with international standards such as IEC 61400, ISO 9001, and relevant regional grid and safety regulations. This includes close collaboration with global certification bodies (e.g., DNV, TUV, UL) and technical teams to manage type certification, component certification, and factory audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage certification processes for wind turbines or similar industrial products
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the IEC 61400 series and certification body requirements
  • Coordinate with certification authorities such as DNV, TUV SUD, UL, or similar
  • Oversee documentation control, non-conformance closure, and ensure traceability of materials and processes in accordance with certification requirements
  • Prepare and review Technical Files, Design Evaluation Reports, and Manufacturing Evaluation Reports

The ideal candidate will oversee the entire certification process, from initial planning to final audit completion, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time. A strong background in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or industrial engineering, as well as excellent communication and project management skills are required.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in managing certification processes for wind turbines or similar industrial products
  • In-depth knowledge of the IEC 61400 series (including IEC 61400-1, 61400-22, and 61400-23) and certification body requirements
  • Experience working with certification authorities such as DNV, TUV SUD, UL, or similar
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
  • Understanding of wind turbine components, manufacturing tolerances, material traceability, and testing protocols (static, fatigue, and dynamic)
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead audits and conformity assessment processes
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering
  • Fluency in English; Arabic or Chinese is a plus
