Accounting Expertise

The role of Senior Consolidation Accountant involves assisting the Accounting Manager in performing monthly, quarterly and year-end closing consolidation tasks. This includes preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards using the ERP system. The production of periodic statutory financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and development of a comprehensive set of controls to mitigate risk are also key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing consolidation tasks.
  • Prepare financial statements using Oracle ERP system.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Oversee inter-company transactions and reconciliation.
  • Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations.
Operational Requirements
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and year-end closing consolidation tasks.
  • Enhance the ERP system to produce required financial reports.
  • Generate various General Ledger Reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/half yearly/year-end closing reports.
  • Coordinate and collect information from investees, subsidiaries and associated companies for consolidated financial reports.
  • Verify and audit transactions and sub-ledgers for accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Certified Accountant degree is mandatory.
  • Experience working with Oracle eBS or Oracle Cloud HCM.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle system and its accounting functionalities.
