About the Role:The Revenue Analyst assists and works directly with the Director of Revenue to maximize hotel revenue through daily management of room inventory and pricing across all segments. The position involves developing and recommending room rates and availability strategies to optimize business through multiple distribution channels.
This role is responsible for driving analysis, compiling reports, and developing models to support better decisions across the resort.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and organize business Intelligence as per defined processes using available BI tools and systems for collecting statistical and competitive data.
- Gather market data and other information for the Director of Revenue.
- Analyze information for creating and driving fact-based business decisions and strategies.
- Support forecasting process by collating all required data.
- Assist Sales and Marketing with account diagnostics process and validate conclusions.
- Check distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy, and competitor positioning.
- Create a daily forecast for all segments including room nights, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and revenue on a weekly basis for the following week/weeks based on history, seasonality, special events, business on the books, pick-up trend, average length of stay, stay/cancellation/no-show pattern, and lead time.
- Drive the execution of the revenue optimization strategy.
- Implement inventory management and pricing decisions across all channels.
- Manage and ensure optimum configuration across all online channels in coordination with reservations.
- Ensure compliance with Best Rate Guarantee and rate integrity.
- Drive the process to optimize production across all distribution channels keeping in mind cost, guest loyalty, and seamless connectivity.
