Job Purpose:

The Head of Project Management Office oversees the delivery of projects to meet organizational objectives. He/She develops and ensures adherence to a project governance framework, ensuring proper controls are in place for successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leads project execution, ensuring accountability and meeting deadlines for high-priority projects.
  2. Provides continuous support, feedback, and periodic progress reports using key performance indicators.
  3. Manages project reporting, assists with resource management, and mediates during resourcing challenges.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field is required; Master's degree is highly preferred.
  2. Holding a PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, or equivalent certification is required; additional certifications are highly preferred.
  3. Minimum of 10 years of project management experience within banking, including 5 years of team leadership, is required.

Project Leadership:

  • Diverse methodologies are executed.
  • Team leadership experience is essential.
  • Proven success in leading banking projects is mandatory.
