About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Demi Chef de Partie to join our vibrant kitchen team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and presentation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional food quality and presentation by applying your skills and knowledge to prepare and cook a variety of dishes.
- Ensure high standards of quality control and presentation for all dishes prepared and cooked, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Inspect and receive produce to ensure it meets specifications and standards, including seasonal and sustainable options, and maintain a thorough understanding of farm-to-table concepts.
- Apply knowledge of portion control, cooking methods and quality standards to ensure consistency and excellence across all dishes, utilizing your expertise in meat and fish cookery, knife skills and Mediterranean cuisine.
- Develop and implement effective garnish and presentation techniques for all dishes, incorporating local and seasonal ingredients where possible and showcasing your creativity and flair.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain accurate financial records and control of outlet operational budget, ensuring the efficient management of resources and achieving maximum profitability.
- Respond to guest complaints, requests and feedback in a timely and professional manner, providing effective solutions and recommendations that exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of and adherence to fire, hygiene and safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and adhering to local and state regulations.
- Ensure all equipment and working areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition, adhering to health and safety protocols and respecting the importance of sustainability and wellness.
- Uphold the highest standards of service and operation at all times, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, and upholding Six Senses' values of local sensitivity and global sensibility.
- Adhere to LQA standards and guest comments, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for all guests.
