Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financials and cash flows, as well as conducting sensitivity analysis for a bank in Oman.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing financials and cash flows (actual and projected) and conducting sensitivity analysis. Strong expertise as a financial analyst in banking or financial institutions is also required.

  • Key responsibilities include assisting Relationship Managers, Unit Heads, and Department Heads in preparing credit proposals, memos, and related reports.
  • The position involves assessing the financial worthiness of existing or prospective clients, examining financial transactions and histories, including applications, statements, balance sheets, and legal documents.
  • Ongoing tasks include completing ratio, trend, and cash flow analyses, creating projections, and providing a multidimensional perspective on proposed lending in an accessible manner.
  • The role requires determining the degree of risk involved in financial transactions, analyzing data carefully, and producing clear, objective reports.

Additional duties include monitoring exposures for compliance and early warning signals, monitoring corporate portfolio asset quality continuously, adhering to financial policies and guidelines, drafting financial models that predict trends and patterns, and ensuring all activities comply with the bank's policies, procedures, and standards.
