About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and proactive individual to take on a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for processing guest room reservations, maintaining accurate records, and providing outstanding customer service.

Main Responsibilities

">
  1. Process and confirm guest room reservations made by clients via phone, letter, or fax.
  2. Input all reservations into the computer system, recording pertinent information and attending to inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding reservations.
  3. Stay up-to-date with hotel promotions and procedures for processing room reservations, rates, confirmations, and hotel facilities.
  4. Develop a thorough understanding of rate structures and apply rate management principles effectively.
  5. Maintain an organized filing system for correspondence and collate reports as required by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
  6. Promote good public relations and strive to maximize business opportunities.
  7. Ensure accurate room status at all times.
  8. Answer incoming calls according to Rotana standards, input received information from fax, and regularly check incoming emails.
  9. Organize visa requests for hotel guests in accordance with hotel policy and identify opportunities to upsell.

Requirements

  • Diploma/degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral proficiency in English, while additional language skills are an asset.
