Business Development Manager

Job Description:

The Revenue Analyst works closely with the Director of Revenue to develop and implement effective strategies to maximize hotel revenue through management of room inventory and pricing across all segments.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to drive analysis, compile reports, and develop models to support better decisions across the resort.

Main Duties:
  • Develop and implement business Intelligence as per defined processes using available BI tools and systems.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Revenue to gather market data and other information.
  • Analyze information to create and drive fact-based business decisions and strategies.
  • Support the forecasting process by collating all required data.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to assist with the account diagnostics process and validate conclusions.
  • Verify distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy, and competitor positioning.
  • Create a daily forecast for all segments including room nights, ADR, and revenue on a weekly basis for the following week/weeks based on history, seasonality, special events, business on the books, pick-up trend, average length of stay, stay/cancellation/no-show pattern, and lead time.
  • Lead the execution of the revenue optimization strategy.
  • Implement inventory management and pricing decisions across all channels.
  • Optimize configuration across all online channels in coordination with reservations.
  • Maintain compliance with Best Rate Guarantee and rate integrity.
  • Drive the process to optimize production across all distribution channels considering cost, guest loyalty, and seamless connectivity.
