Book Collection Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Book Collection Specialist to join our team at Abroad Work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library's collection, cataloguing materials, and assisting patrons with their research needs.

Job DescriptionThe Library Manager will be responsible for managing the library's collection, cataloguing materials, and assisting patrons with their research needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Catalogue new materials using the library's system
- Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
- Provide reference services to patrons in person and over the phone
- Maintain an organised and clean library environment
- Plan and coordinate events and programmes for library patrons
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with library management systems is a plus
