We are seeking a highly skilled Library Manager to join our team at Abroad Work. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the library's collection, ensuring accurate cataloguing of materials, and providing exceptional support to patrons with their research needs.

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in a library setting, demonstrate strong organisational skills, and showcase excellent customer service abilities. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
  • Catalogue new materials using the library's system
  • Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
  • Provide reference services to patrons in person and over the phone
  • Maintain an organised and clean library environment
  • Plan and coordinate events and programmes for library patrons

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
  • Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Familiarity with library management systems is a plus
