Job Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring market positioning through e-distribution channels. They will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Department to implement sales and marketing policies, drive overall revenue from direct bookings, and support yield management and market analysis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Achieve financial and non-financial objectives, including group quotes and reporting.
  • Communicate the brand's personality and vision to the team and integrate it into business practices.
  • Set high performance standards and maintain professional grooming among subordinates.

Sales Management Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue from Corporate, Government, Embassy, and other market segments.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts and prospects.
  • Monitor account production and take necessary actions in coordination with the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM).
  • Develop new business markets and submit weekly call plans with objectives to the DOSM.
  • Maintain a consistent sales call schedule and manage correspondence and filing tasks as required.

Budget & Financial Responsibilities

  • Maximize hotel yield and revenue by controlling costs and ensuring guests receive value for money.
  • Assist in creating the department's annual business plan and monitor the department budget.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department on accounts payable and maintain confidentiality related to the role at all times.

Social Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and implement human resources procedures concerning discipline, performance assessment, objectives, and training.
  • Ensure subordinates develop necessary professional skills and engage in continuous professional development through self-learning and training programs.
  • Promote and lead by example to uphold the company's social and HR objectives.
