Electrical Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in Overhead Line (OHL) and Underground Cable systems.

  • Review designs, plans, constructs, and maintains high-voltage electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure safety compliance.
  • Oversee field construction and coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to deliver a reliable and efficient power system.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical substation projects and hold OETC approval up to 400kV level.

  • 15-20 years of experience in delivering electrical substation projects with OHL/Underground Cable expertise.
  • OETC approval, up to 400kV level.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex engineering challenges.
  • Practical knowledge of overhead line installation methods, underground cable laying techniques, and quality control procedures.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in Power Line Systems (PLS) design software, CAD packages, and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with project managers, design teams, field personnel, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Work Environment:

The position is substation site-based, with the opportunity to work on various projects as required.
