Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned electrical engineer with 15-20 years of dedicated experience in delivering substation projects, holding OETC approval up to 400kV level.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review designs, calculations, technical drawings, and specifications for OHL and underground cable projects.
  • Manage project timelines, ensure safety compliance, oversee field construction, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical studies, perform route assessments, and utilize design software for both OHL and underground cable systems.
  • Supervise field activities, assess contractor performance, and ensure quality and compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Proficient in insulation coordination, earthing, EMF, EMC, tower types, structural aspects, foundation design, insulators, and conductor behavior under climatic loading.
Requirements and Skills
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex engineering challenges.
  • Practical knowledge of overhead line installation methods, underground cable laying techniques, and quality control procedures.
  • Familiar with industry standards, OETC regulations, and safety compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage project deliverables within established timelines.
  • Proficiency in Power Line Systems (PLS) design software, CAD packages, and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Collaborative skills to work with project managers, design teams, field personnel, and contractors.
