Hotel Housekeeping Operations Supervisor

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our housekeeping department, including room cleaning, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces.
  • The successful candidate will supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to meet service and cleanliness standards.
  • A key responsibility of this role is conducting regular inspections to ensure consistency with hotel standards.
  • The candidate will also coordinate room status updates with the front office and maintenance teams.
  • Additionally, they will help manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities; assist with ordering and stock control.
  • The Executive Housekeeper will oversee the scheduling of staff and labor costs within budget, with support from the Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
  • The successful candidate will respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints or requests.
  • This role requires adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • The candidate will also assist in onboarding and ongoing training of housekeeping personnel.
  • Proper documentation, including inspection reports, staff attendance, and maintenance issues, will be maintained.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory role in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness and guest service.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred but not required.
