Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Pipeline Designer, located in Muscat. The Senior Pipeline Designer will be responsible for creating and reviewing pipeline design models, drawings, and documentation, ensuring designs meet industry standards and project specifications. Tasks include coordinating with engineering teams to integrate pipeline systems, providing technical support during construction phases, and performing site visits for design validation and troubleshooting. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of pipeline design trends, tools, and software to optimize design processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in pipeline design software and tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and 3D modeling software
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and project specifications for pipeline design
  • Experience in coordinating with engineering teams and providing technical support during construction
  • Ability to conduct site visits for design validation and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in pipeline design
  • Certification in HSE practices is a plus
