Monitors and operates oil and gas processing equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production by starting/stopping units, monitoring process parameters, performing routine maintenance, and responding to emergencies. Conduct field and panel operations, take samples, record data, and troubleshoot equipment, while also adhering to strict safety, health, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operation of Equipment: Operate and control various units such as furnaces, pumps, compressors, and separators.
  • Monitoring and Data: Monitor process parameters and equipment performance from central control rooms or the field, using various software applications.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, identify and correct operational issues, and prepare equipment for maintenance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) procedures and regulations.
  • Reporting: Create production logs, record data, and write reports to management on operational status and potential improvements.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and lead field and panel operations during abnormal or crisis situations.
  • Collaboration: Work as a competent member of a shift team, coordinate with maintenance, and sometimes train junior operators.
