JOB PURPOSE:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic leadership and direction for the company, with a primary focus on identifying, managing, and optimizing investment opportunities within the industrial sector. The CEO will be responsible for setting the vision, driving growth, and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the organization. This role demands strong expertise in industrial markets, capital deployment, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The CEO will lead the development and execution of high-impact investment strategies, foster key partnerships, and ensure operational excellence across the company's portfolio.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and execute the company's long-term vision, mission, and strategic goals in alignment with shareholder interests.
  • Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities in the relevant industrial sector, including manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, and related verticals.
  • Oversee the full investment lifecycle, including origination, due diligence, structuring, execution, monitoring, and exit strategies.
  • Ensure optimal asset allocation and capital deployment to maximize returns and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the company meets its financial and operational targets.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, ensuring strong performance of portfolio companies.
  • Establish robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, regulatory adherence, and performance tracking across all business units and investments.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the board of directors and executive management.
  • Provide timely updates, performance reports, and strategic insights to the board and shareholders.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, technological developments, and regulatory changes within the industrial sector.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Build and lead a high-performing executive team; promote a culture of integrity, innovation, and accountability.
  • Drive talent development and succession planning.
  • Forge and manage strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to expand the company's industrial footprint.
  • Lead negotiations and relationship management with external investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • Incorporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into investment decisions and company operations.
  • Promote sustainable industrial practices across the portfolio.
  • Lead the organization through market volatility, economic uncertainty, or operational challenges with agility and resilience.
  • Direct the Investments contribution to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering 'leading best practices', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Professional Qualifications: CFA, CMA, CPA, FMVA, FRM, CAIA is preferred.
  • Proven track record with at least 15 years of senior leadership experience in investment management, private equity, industrial sector, or related fields.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in capital markets, investment analysis, portfolio management, and risk assessment.
  • Experience working with boards of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrated success in leading growth strategies, business transformation, and operational excellence.
