Position: Plant / Factory Manager - Chemical Manufacturing.

Company: Saih Al-Rawl Gas Company LLC - OMAN

To oversees daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of chemicals, manage staff, maintain quality and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production & Operations Management:

  • Oversee the safe and smooth operation of plant processes, including process parameter monitoring and control.

  • Achieve production targets, manage production costs, and drive plant efficiencies.

  • Plan and control in-process quality control systems to meet product specifications.

  • Safety, Health, and Environment (EHS):

  • Ensure all plant activities adhere to safety, health, and environmental norms.

  • Foster a strong safety culture, ensure employees follow safe practices and use PPE, and manage accident reporting and investigations.

  • Monitor and control pollutants to ensure compliance with environmental standards.

  • Maintenance & Engineering:

  • Oversee equipment maintenance, building security, and plant protection.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.

  • Participate in plant expansion, equipment planning, and improvement projects.

  • Staff & Leadership:

  • Supervise and develop employees, set performance goals, and conduct performance evaluations.

  • Communicate effectively with employees to gather feedback and ensure information exchange.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably chemical)

  • Experience: 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing and production management.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis, financial reports, and computer systems. Technical knowledge of chemical or petrochemical plant operations is essential.
