Estimation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following:

• Duties involved estimation and preparation of Technical & Commercial Bids & Tenders
• Follow up with client for any technical information required
• Collection of required data for estimation from client, market & TGIL Team
• Close liasoning with clients and TGIL Team for the successful conclusion of submitted bids
• Laisoning with clients for job follow-up and purchase orders for the submitted bids
• Maintaining good and successful professional relationship with all clients
• Attending meeting with client for technical discussion and follow-up
• Preparation of Analysis sheet to review the success rate of submitted bids and tenders
• Laisoning with client and obtaining data related with unsuccessful bids and tenders
• Laisoning with all production staff for technical and commercial impact of the successful bids & tenders
• Handling all issues related to Bids & Tenders
• Smooth & Professional approach to all clients & Colleagues
• Comply with all company & project HSE, QA/QC requirements.
• Liaising with relevant clients for approval of drawings including visits to customer sites / offices where required.
• Preparation of MAS where required to be submitted to client
• Examine and check engineering drawings for compliance with cited specifications.
• Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team & clients.
• Participate in project meetings and conference calls as required.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects on multidisciplinary projects.
• Apply professional knowledge and experienced judgment, but refer to more senior staff for more complex matters.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned tasks between all the disciplines.
• Follow-up with clients for enquiries and results of submitted bids and tenders
• Laisoning with some specific clients for day to day follow-up for jobs, status of submitted quotations, follow-up for forthcoming jobs and tenders
• Evaluating the market scenario to understand market trends and up-coming projects
• Laisoning and coordinating with specific clients for preparation and submission of Invoices and day to day routine job creations
