Role Description

This is a contract role for an Accountant, located on-site in Sohar. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, conducting month end closing, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The day-to-day tasks will include reconciling bank statements, preparing tax returns, managing payroll, and providing financial advice and support to the management team.

Salary Budget

OMR 600 per month all inclusive.

Qualifications

  • Financial management skills, including managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Month End Closing task
  • Audit and compliance skills
  • Tax preparation and payroll management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
  • Experience in the GCC market is preferred
