Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Accountant role based in Muscat, Oman. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial planning, creating accurate financial reports, adhering to tax regulations, and maintaining compliance standards. Key tasks include preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, analyzing financial data, and overseeing VAT filings and reconciliations. Collaboration with internal teams and clients is essential to ensure financial efficiency and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Expertise in tax advisory, VAT compliance, reconciliation, and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in advanced accounting software and tools
  • Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in Arabic (both spoken and written) and proficiency in English
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a professional and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (relevant certifications like ACCA or CPA are a plus)
  • Experience in the financial or professional services industries will be advantageous
