As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Prepare financial management reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Continuous support of budget and forecast activities.
  • Monitor taxation issues.
  • Assistance in smooth completion of audit process.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
  • Adheres to the contents of the Company's overall internal procedures and policies.
  • Miscellaneous tasks within the scope of work, as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • ACCA/CMA or other certified qualifications preferred.
