Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of mechanical technicians and subcontractors, ensuring that all mechanical maintenance and construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards. This includes supervising the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, as well as managing work permits, safety procedures, and quality control. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and Coordinating:Directing the work of mechanical technicians and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Work Planning and Execution:Assisting with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, preparing work permits, and monitoring progress.
  • Safety and Quality Control:Implementing and enforcing safety procedures, quality control measures, and environmental regulations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical systems, including piping, rotating equipment, and static equipment.
  • Experience of 7 years in oil and gas
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, and other relevant documentation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Experience in a supervisory role within the oil and gas industry
