Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Health Safety Environment Officer located in Muscat. The Health Safety Environment Officer will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, implementing safety procedures, managing EHS programs, and providing training on workplace safety. The officer will also be responsible for investigating incidents and conducting regular inspections to mitigate potential hazards.

Qualifications

  • Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills
  • Occupational Health and Workplace Safety knowledge
  • Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and training abilities
  • Ability to work independently and proactively address safety concerns
  • Experience in implementing and managing EHS programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
