  • Quality Control: Inspecting welds for defects, ensuring they meet standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Following all safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintenance and Repair: Repairing damaged or worn metal components through welding.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to welding and metalwork.
  • Documentation: Maintaining records of work performed and materials used.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Welding Certification:Formal certification in relevant welding processes (e.g., from ASME, AWS).
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in reading blueprints, using welding equipment, and performing quality inspections.
  • Physical Fitness:Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various environmental conditions.
  • Safety Awareness:Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work safely in a hazardous environment.
  • Experience:Experience of 3 years in the oil and gas industry, particularly with pipeline welding
