About the Role:

We are seeking a **highly experienced Quantity Surveyor** with a minimum of **10 years of proven expertise** in the **fit-out and joinery sector**. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in **both pre- and post-tender** processes, including accurate measurement, pricing, cost planning, and final account management.

You will play a key role in supporting commercial operations, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, and maintaining profitability across multiple high-end fit-out and joinery projects.


Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate **quantity take-offs**, **cost estimates**, and **BOQs** for tender submissions.

* Analyze project drawings and specifications for pricing and measurement purposes.

* Develop **detailed pricing schedules** and ensure competitiveness and accuracy of tenders.

* Manage **post-tender activities** including variations, valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts.

* Liaise closely with project managers, procurement teams, and clients to ensure commercial success.

* Monitor costs, budgets, and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.

* Support contract negotiation and dispute resolution when required.


Requirements:

* Minimum **10 years of experience** as a Quantity Surveyor in the **fit-out and joinery industry**.

* Strong experience in both **pre-tender estimating** and **post-contract commercial management**.

* Solid understanding of project drawings, technical specifications, and construction methods.

* Proficient in QS software and tools such as CostX, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.

* Ability to work independently with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred.
