Our client, a well-established organization in the
food production and FMCG sector
, is seeking a
meticulous and analytical Internal Auditor
to join their headquarters team. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional departments, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and strong internal control systems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits independently to assess internal controls, business risks, and compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Review and evaluate operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify deficiencies, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction or process improvement.
  • Prepare audit plans, reports, and recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to auditing standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of accounting records, fixed assets, inventory, and transactional data in ERP systems.
  • Participate in special audit assignments, investigations, and risk assessment projects.
  • Stay updated with evolving audit regulations (e.g., Capital Market Authority) and suggest process improvements.
  • Support the implementation of previous audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    .
  • 2–4 years
    of experience in internal audit or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as
    CIA
    or
    CICA
    are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in
    English and Arabic
    .
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and MS Office tools.
  • Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
