Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, ensuring data accuracy and availability for reporting and analytics. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and an interest in digital banking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes to support business and reporting requirements.
  • Work with various data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, and optionally NoSQL databases (HBase, Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Cognos.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Optimize ETL performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and system configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support digital banking initiatives and contribute to enhancing customer experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of ETL experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with reporting/BI tools: Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Cognos.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Visio.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Interest in digital banking with a customer-centric mindset.
